š¦ Two coaching clients this week. Both had interviews. Both felt they went well and the interviewers were saying the right things. And then⦠crickets. No āthanks but no thanks.ā No āweāre still deciding.ā Just⦠silence.
š And it doesnāt just feel rude, it messes with people's mental health. Both clients are now doubting their ability to interview, to read the room, to trust their instincts.
š§© And hereās the kicker ā both employers are well-known NZ brands.
Look, I get it. Hiringās hard. Iāve been doing it for three decades. But hitting send on a two-line email? Thatās not.
š» If youāre ghosting candidates, especially after interviews - youāre not saving time. Youāre burning bridges. People remember how you made them feel. Especially when theyāre job hunting.
šļø It shouldnāt be this difficult.
