I coach a lot of people with strong track records, skills and experience who are at some sort of a career cross-roads. For a variety of reasons they are not sure what they want to do next, not sure how to change direction from their current path and generally a little stuck in their current role or situation. As with most things in life there is no magic wand and often no easy answer.
The key is to devise a plan, identify some career goals and map out a process to start moving towards achieving them. Then it's into the detail, defining strengths and the core proposition and building the tools needed (CVs, LinkedIn profiles, marketing plans) before following a structured plan of attack. That, in a nutshell, is career coaching. And it's also roughly what Tania Randrup and myself worked through recently. And delighted to be able to report another successful outcome!
