🗞️ Job market update. Spoiler alert: it’s actually good news for once.

🔢 A couple of weeks ago I ran a poll asking where folks thought the job market was heading in NZ and Australia for the rest of 2025.

💡 Turns out, 29% of you were feeling optimistic. Only 24% saw it getting worse. The rest? Sitting on the fence. Well, the optimists might be onto something (and yes, maybe buy that Lotto ticket this weekend):

📈 Job ads on SEEK are up 16% in NZ

📈 ...and up a whopping 22% in Australia – just in the last 4 weeks.

❓ A bit of a blip? Maybe. But after months of bad news, I’ll take it.
