New year new career?

🏖️ 6 years ago this week I found myself sitting on a beach during the summer holidays thinking about going back to work. I wasn't actively contemplating a change but equally wasn't jumping up and down about the year ahead.

🔚 A week later I returned to the office and resigned. It wasn't planned but I decided I wanted to do something different after 25 years of working for three recruitment companies in NZ and the UK. 

😕 The biggest regret I have is that I resigned without a plan. It took me most of 2019 to pull my thoughts together and get my business going and, looking back, I really wish I'd had a plan.
