⚠️ Scam alert for job hunters in New Zealand and Australia - if you're job hunting right now, please read this.

🎯 For months I’ve seen stories about scammers posing as recruiters on LinkedIn. Now it’s hitting home locally. Two of my career coaching clients were recently approached by 'recruiters' from big-name global agencies.

👉 They were pitched real jobs and told to send their CV urgently. Then came the twist: their CV “needs reformatting” - and here’s a Gmail or Fiverr link to pay a small fee.

🐀 Fortunately both were sharp and smelt a rat. But it's dodgy. Really dodgy.

👻 Turns out the “recruiters” were ghosts - barely any LinkedIn presence, weird locations, no digital footprint.

🔍 A few tips:-

➡️ Always Google the recruiter

➡️ Check their LinkedIn history and connections

➡️ Never send your CV to someone you can’t verify
